The perfect lunch.

A very good friend of mine took me and my partner to a little place in Antibes we had never been to before.

It was small (about 20 covers) yet the perfect place for a romanitc dinner or a lunch to impress.

The restaurant is run by a husband and wife combo and their passion for food and service was obvious from the first step inside the door.

I'm not going to say much as it will ruin the experience for you but what I will say is WOW!!!

The menu was stunning and all built around edible flowers, each flower was matched perfectly to the meat or fish and in most cases raw was the order of the day.

I had without doubt the best ballitine of Foie Gras i think i have ever had with a jasmine infusion, snap dragon flours and honey cress.

My main was a very rare tuna steak with a side of crunchy fresh seasonal veg, bulgur wheat and cous cous and Simon had tender pork loin with a veal and liquorice jus.

My advice to anyone who has a spare evening and in Antibes is to go visit La Taille de Guêpe you wont be disappointed.
